A lunch-debate for those opposing the A22 tolls is taking place at Restaurante Zé do Norte, on the EN125 near Quatro Estradas-Quarteira on December 8, marking the first anniversary of the introduction of the tolls in the Algarve.
The event, organised by the A22 Users’ Commission (CUVI), is open to everyone and will also be an opportunity to hold a series of anti-tolls protests along the A22 and the EN125.
Various influential speakers will be participating in the debate, showing their discontent at the tolls, which have been devastating for the Algarve, says the CUVI. Foreign residents wishing to attend the lunch at 1pm should contact Michael Ferrada. Cost is €10 per person.
