Workers of Palmela municipal authority had a harrowing experience when they found a human foetus during routine maintenance work on the sewers at Pinhal Novo.
According to Setúbal District Centre for Aid Operations, the foetus was “small but already completely formed”.
The local fire department, as well as the GNR, was called to the scene.
