LISBON AIRPORT’S second terminal, which is due to open on August 1, has the capacity to serve more than two million passengers per year, according to Airport Director Francisco Severino.
He said that only domestic flights will use the new terminal, with most of the flight traffic occurring between 6am and 9am.
The terminal’s construction cost was an estimated 18 million euros and flights will go to Faro, Porto, Bragança, Vila Real, Madeira and the Azores.
