The Quinta Jacintina Cup held on November 10 at the Dunas Douradas Beach Club near Quinta do Lago was hailed a success by organisers.
Winners of the Charity Swiss Teams Event were Dickie vanLinden, Soheila Munro and Cathy and Michael Davies.
Nineteen teams fought to be the best and a full day of bridge was enjoyed by everyone.
Algarve children’s charity ACCA received €3,200 from the event.
The money will be used to pay for much-needed speech therapy for several children in the Algarve.
