Third division Faro remained unbeaten this season following a 5-1 win over Pescadores.
The region’s capital club is now 19 points clear of second placed Lagos who only managed a 2-2 draw while Lagoa’s 6-1 thrashing of bottom side Despertar saw them into eighth.
