Polish businessman Slawomir Deluzuch, who has been developing his company Del Midia at Portimão’s business incubator, will be representing the Algarve at the finals of ‘Get in the Ring’, an original competition for startup companies.
Deluzuch was one of the winners of a qualification event that took place in Portimão on May 1 and will be competing against other businesspeople from around the world at the Global Meetup which will be held in Cascais between May 30 and June 1.
The competition gives businesspeople an opportunity to pitch their business ideas in an actual boxing ring, with the goal being to present a better pitch than their adversary.
Two other businesspeople from Coimbra and Lisbon also qualified for the final, where around 200 start-ups will be competing for an opportunity to convince investors and gain exposure.
