“Amar é Cuidar” (Love is to Caring for) is the name of a campaign by Lagos council that aims to raise awareness amongst local youngsters about the importance of animal welfare.
The municipality has already organised a number of successful demonstrations, mostly at kindergartens and primary schools.
According to the municipal authority, raising awareness among the youngest is the best way to prevent animal abandonment and cruelty.
