A BILL has been passed in the Florida Senate that means public school children could be suspended if their trousers are too low.
Florida could join several southern towns and cities that have passed “saggy pants” laws, aimed at outlawing the fashion statement adopted by many teenagers of wearing trousers halfway down their bottoms, exposing flesh or underwear. However, the bill will not become law unless the House of Representatives passes a companion measure.
