AN 11-YEAR-old boy from Belo Horizonte in Brazil, who broke his canine tooth when he bit a dog in self defence, is enjoying his moment of fame.
Gabriel Almeida bit into a pitbull that attacked him as he played in his uncle’s backyard on July 24 to fend off an attack.
Since then, he has been on several TV stations, where he has been recounting his ordeal.
“I grabbed him by the neck and bit,” he said. “It’s no big deal. It’s better to lose a tooth than to lose your life.”
