THE PRESIDENT of Covilhã Câmara claims that the government is picking on it because of politically sensitive documents it holds over the Prime Minister’s qualifications.
Carlos Pinto says that his municipality is being picked on in a report by the Inspectorate-General of Territorial Administration (IGAT) for “alleged irregularities.”
The PSD Câmara President said, “It’s a rather strange coincidence that the IGAT report was released by the government in May, the time in which the Câmara was cited in the media because of a dossier about the Prime Minister’s degree certificates.”
