The construction of a wind turbine factory in Portugal has been “postponed and not cancelled”, according to the president of Chinese power company China Three Gorges (CTG), a partner of the Portuguese electricity operator EDP. Cao Guangjing justified the decision by saying that the market has changed. He also stressed that the deal in which they purchased 21.35% of EDP presented the construction of new factories as a “possibility” and not a commitment.
