The Order of Physicians (OM) wants to start charging fees to people who have complaints against doctors in the institution, in order to avoid unfounded complaints and speed up the process. The amounts to be charged will still be defined by specific regulations, but could add up to much as 102 euros.
It was also agreed that the regulations may provide for exemptions in the case of the complainants who can prove they can not afford to pay and that those who’s complaints are deemed as justified will get their money back.
