SINTRA IS hosting an open air sculpture exhibition to celebrate the 860th anniversary since its conquest by D. Afonso Henriques.
The exhibition, entitled Arte Pública, takes place from tomorrow (Saturday) until May 25 next year. The event sees the work of 15 national and international sculptors including Abílio Febra, Auli Korhonen, Beatriz Cunha, Carlos Madeira, Etona, Rogério Timóteo and Tjasa-Gusfors.
Most of the works are made from stone, metal and wood.
