Zoomarine marine park in Guia has another reason for celebration this summer.
After the birth of a female California sea lion in early June, the team at the park was delighted to welcome a baby dolphin to the Zoomarine family.
The male bottlenose dolphin was born on July 1 and “has been doing what it knows best – feeding and swimming”, said the park’s biologist Élio Vicente.
Zoomarine is currently the home of around 20 dolphins.
