The Portuguese ‘Futsal’ five-a-side national team played two friendly international matches against reigning European Champions Spain in the Algarve earlier this week. Monday evening’s opening encounter in Tavira saw the two sides draw 1-1 while Tuesday’s follow-up in Loulé was lost 3-1 despite an improved performance from the home side.
