A MAN at a petrol station in Wellington, New Zealand was arrested after trying to pay for sweets with marijuana.

According to newspaper reports, the man was trying to buy two packets of M&Ms and a packet of crisps to satisfy his “munchies” but had forgotten to bring any money with him and instead tried to pay with the drugs he had on him.

Unfortunately for the hungry shopper, he had failed to notice a policeman filling up his police car with petrol outside on the forecourt who came into pay for his fuel and witnessed the whole event.

The 28-year old mechanic pleaded guilty for possessing cannabis and was remanded for sentencing.
