The “Coro dos Amigos” of Museu do Traje de São Brás de Alportel is performing an Easter Concert at Igreja de Nossa Senhora de Fátima in Almancil, on April 6 at 7pm.
The programme will focus on sacred music from key historic periods.
Founded 10 years ago, the choir will sing pieces of master composers such as J. Bach, Vivaldi, Tallis, Mendelssohn, Gounod, Jacob de Haan and Josef Rheinberger. “Stabat Mater”, composed by Rheinberger, will be a highlight.
“It is our intent to continuing working and singing by bringing music to new places and venues,” said a spokesperson for the choir.
