OFFICIALS IN South Korea have been told to give up golf by President Lee Myung-bak.
“Golf is not bad but as prices are unstable and the economic situation is not getting better, President Lee thinks they need to consider public sentiment,” said a presidential official.
Golf clubs are to be kept in their bags until at least mid September in a bid by the President to improve popularity ratings in the country.
