Eight Nepalese agricultural workers have been made homeless following a house fire in the parish of São Teotónio – the area notorious for having foreign agricultural workers living in sub-standard conditions. According to reports, the eight workers were ‘in the attic’ at the time the fire broke out, shortly before 7am this morning.
