A GIRL, aged six, died on Sunday at a fairground in Oliveira de Azeméis, northern Portugal, when her shoe fell off on the bumper car ride and her foot made contact with the floor, which was still electrically live.
Several attempts were made to revive her but she suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest and she was dead before arriving at the hospital.
The girl’s parents are furious that she was allowed to purchase tickets for a ride that has a minimum age of 12.
