The Estoi Palace Rotary Club International (RCEPI) Annual Charity Golf Tournament is about a week away on August 30 and it’s shaping up to be the best tournament yet, say organisers. RCEPI wants to thank and acknowledge local businesses who are sponsoring the event.
The charity group is delighted to have been offered sponsorship for the event from several Algarve businesses including the Open Media Group, publishers of the Algarve Resident and the Clubhouse Algarve Magazine, among others; Blacktower Financial Management (International) Limited, Conrad Algarve Hotel; Centro Porsche Faro; The Works Print Shop and the Monte Rei Golf and Country Club.
The annual Estoi Palace Charity Golf Tournament is nearly sold out and invites the public to join in a day of golf for charity at the Monte Rei Golf Course. Sign up through the RCEPI website at https://rotaryestoipalace.org – you can register as an individual and be placed with a foursome if you do not have your own group.
Organisers say they welcome more sponsors for this year or next year’s tournament and invite interested companies to visit their website for more information.
The funds donated by the sponsors and raised by Estoi Palace International Rotary Club help charities in the local Algarve community as well as international projects. Thus far the Club has helped fund a mobile breast cancer unit; assisted in purchasing a mobile van for the Faro Food Bank; paid for a local milk programme; donated wheelchairs; funded the purchase of defibrillators for the bombeiros as well as supplies to support the recent firefighting efforts, among many other projects.
