I read with interest the letter from your reader about the filthy state of the cinema facilities at AlgarveShopping (last week’s Algarve Resident).
I admit I hadn’t noticed the sorry state of the place during my recent visit there, but probably because I was too busy worrying about the amount of money I had spent on three cinema tickets. As a family, we wanted to enjoy a children’s movie with our son.
But this most enjoyable form of entertainment has become such a luxury that it’s impossible to enjoy a kids’ movie as a family of three. My husband and I have already agreed that we will have to take it in turns to take our son to the cinema. What a shame…
