THIRTY SIX people were admitted to hospital after overdosing on drugs at the Freedom Music Festival in the Alentejo at the weekend.
All were admitted to the emergency rooms at the Santa Luzia and Portalegre hospitals, both in the Alentejo region.
Rabina Ofra, a 32-year-old Israeli woman, died from a drugs overdose at Portalegre hospital at 8.18pm on Friday, August 17.
An operation developed by the GNR from Portalegre seized many different types of drugs during the festival including cannabis and ecstasy and revealed that the major age group in possession of drugs were 20 to 30 year olds.
