Former President of the Republic Jorge Sampaio remains stable in hospital in Lisbon today, after being airlifted from the Algarve last week with breathing difficulties (click here). His office has reported that Mr Sampaio’s state of health “has not suffered any significant alterations in relation to previous days”.
