Lisbon criminal police arrested a group of six men who were trying to rob a cash machine in Corroios, in Lisbon, on Tuesday morning.
The group, detected by a security employee who alerted police, is said to have connections with another gang that attacked a Modelo supermarket in Beja, also in the early hours of Tuesday.
The group is also suspected of involvement in a robbery that happened two weeks ago in Setúbal’s branch of the Social Security services, south from Lisbon.
