STAFF AT Nepal’s state-run airline, Nepal Airlines, sacrificed two goats after one of its Boeing 757 aircrafts experienced technical problems.
They made the sacrifice to appease the Hindu sky God, Akash Bhairab, and the flight then took off without a hitch. The airline has had to delay several flights from Nepal’s only international airport in Kathmandu, in recent weeks due to technical faults.
