Tavira Câmara is organising a Christmas lunch for needy residents of the council on Monday, December 19.
Around 200 people will be served a Christmas meal at the municipal soup kitchen.
A spokesman for the Câmara said: “We wanted to support those who, throughout the year, face serious financial difficulties. With the help of other entities, we are able to promote the wellbeing of these residents.”
