Hotels in Algarve expect 50% capacity in September

With August finally coming to an end, taking many of the crowds with it, Elidérico Vieigas, president of AHETA – the Algarve’s hoteliers association – has said hotels in the region are expecting to run at 50% capacity in September, perhaps a little more. Visitors looking forward to an altogether quieter month, with generally-assured fine weather, look certain to get it (though the forecast for the coming days predicts rain “from north to south”…)
