THE PORTUGUESE are still remarkably uninformed about HIV/Aids according to the association, Abraço, which celebrated its 15th anniversary last week.
The association is launching a series of awareness initiatives this month, called Abraçar em Português, which will include the opening of a dental care centre for HIV/Aids patients.
At the end of last year, there were 30,366 HIV/Aids cases registered in Portugal.
