Portuguese CITIZENS are buying more Spanish cars, according to a study by the Portuguese Automobile Commerce Association.
Cars are being purchased in Spain where prices are lower and taxes are cheaper. However, many still have Spanish number plates, making them illegal in Portugal. Authorities and car dealerships are worried about the situation, which they say is difficult to control.
