LISBON’S UNDERGROUND metro system has been voted the best public transport system in the metropolitan area of the capital by its passengers.
Results of the study carried out by the Indice Europeu de satisfação do cliente (ECSI), the European indicator of customer satisfaction were presented on Tuesday.
Lisbon metro came first with 70 per cent, being considered as a privileged method of transport over traveling on the road, operating with a high standard of security, comfort, regularity and short waiting times.
