Lisbon Câmara announced a list of 20 affordable housing units for rent in and around Bairro Alto and Bica last week.
The housing was aimed at people under the age of 41, and 260 people were in the running for the lucky dip. The measure forms part of a Câmara drive to attract more young professional people into the heart of the city. In central Lisbon, only 28 per cent of residents are under 30 years of age.
