A HUMAN rights organisation has launched a Portuguese version of its website to coincide with Portugal assuming the presidency of the European Union this week.
The Human Rights Watch (HRW) site at http://www.hrw.org is in English and features news and reports on the latest human rights developments around the globe. The addition of a Portuguese version brings to 11 the number of languages it offers.
The website also contains background information about countries on all continents, from Angola to Azerbaijan, Brazil to Burma, covering subjects from arms to women rights, soldier children and details of abusive governments in many countries.
