OWNERS OF a minivan in the US had a shock on Sunday when a cow landed on their bonnet after falling off a 61 metre cliff.
Amazingly, the couple were not hurt in the incident but the cow had to be put to sleep due to its injuries. Police said that if the cow had fallen a split second later, it would have landed on them and the animal was estimated to weigh around 272 kilograms. The cow was reported missing two days before it fell of the cliff some kilometres away.
