A man who fell into the water at Faro docks after fainting was rescued by two PSP officers last Friday at 6.30am.
The officers were called to the scene by an eye witness and promptly formed a ‘human rope’ with the help of other locals to reach the victim, who had managed to hold on to the dock’s sidewall.
He was transported to Faro Hospital by the Bombeiros.
