Today (August 24) Portugal’s Minister of Agriculture, Assunção Cristas, is expected to attend the Fatacil fair in Lagoa. The minister’s visit to the Algarve’s largest handicraft, tourism, agriculture, trade and industry fair, now in its 33rd year, will consist of a tour around the varied exhibitions and a reception at the Agriculture, Sea, Environment and Spatial Planning stand. Admission to the fair is €5 for a single ticket or €15 for a family-of-four ticket. Children under 12 enter for free.
