TWO ALGARVE residents from Sue’s Road Runners, Jill Edwards and Amanda Mortimer, came first in their categories in Oeiras, near Cascais, at the weekend.
The event consisted of swimming 750m, cycling 20km and running 5km. These events are placed back to back in immediate sequence. Jill Edwards will be flying to the UK for the 2007 Windsor Triathlon and looking to secure a place to compete for Britain in Canada next year.
