A GNR police officer found guilty of 14 separate cases of paedophilia has been sentenced to 11 years behind bars by a court in Idanha-a-Nova, near Castelo Branco. His mistress and accomplice was also jailed for five years.
The court heard how the policeman had forced two seven-year-old sisters to engage in sexual activities, as well as paying two schoolgirls – aged 12 and 13 – amounts of between €5 and €50 to participate in orgies with him.
