Supermarket chain Pingo Doce is touring the Algarve looking for around 400 new employees for its stores.
The chain owned by the Jerónimo Martins group has been holding several job fairs throughout the region, with the final event taking place on April 12 in Lagos.
“The number of applications has exceeded our expectations,” said Pingo Doce’s head of recruitment Ana Ribeiro Soares.
