PJ police have rounded up 12 men in the north of Portugal for making weapons reminiscent of those featured in early James Bond movies: walking sticks and pens ‘transformed’ to fire bullets. The workmanship involved a ‘metalworker’. The PJ’s Manuel Santos has admitted it is hard to understand “where these weapons were going” once they entered the black market, but it obviously wasn’t a good place.
