A POLITICIAN from the northern Cantabria region of Spain has been accused by his female counterparts of encouraging prostitution after describing, during a televised interview, how he lost his virginity.
Miguel Angel Revilla, head of the regional government of Cantabria, said that he had paid the first time he had sex at the age of 18.
In a statement, female members of the regional parliament from the opposition conservative Popular Party said: “As the head of the regional government, he should be an example for the young people of Cantabria.”
