Portugal agrees to green-light vaccinated travellers from Israel

Following the ‘incomprehensible’ decision on September 1 to ban all travellers from Israel – whether or not they had been fully vaccinated (click here) – Portugal has agreed to allow the entry of Israelis with a Covid-19 vaccination or recovery certificate, the country’s online Ynet has reported. “The approval comes as a result of the deal between Israel and the EU that agrees on mutual recognition of vaccination certificates”, said the Jerusalem Times.
