I would like to place on record my thanks for the most professional and efficient treatment and care I received a week ago when I suffered a heart attack.
The ambulance arrived within 10 minutes and the very efficient paramedics checked me thoroughly before taking me to the Barlavento Hospital, where I was diagnosed within half-an-hour and transported by the INEM team to the Cardiovascular Unit at Faro Hospital.
The moment I arrived I was taken into surgery, had two stents inserted and spent two days in ICU, one day in a general ward and then was discharged.
The treatment, care and cleanliness of the Cardio Unit was outstanding. I cannot praise and thank the whole team who attended to me enough. Each and everyone was very professional and caring.
