IN A bid to flee from the scene of the crime, a shoplifter in the town of Limbach-Oberfrohna, in Germany, made his getaway in a cement mixing truck.
The 55-year-old man had stolen cheese from a local supermarket and when a shop detective caught him, he ran away and jumped into the vehicle. Police caught up with him a few hundred metres down the road, where he was stopped at a red light. The cheese was said to cost around 2.50 euros and was a processed type.
