A total of 3,000 trees are to be planted in the Dunas Litorais forest of Vila Real de Santo António between November and February 2013. The Mata Nacional das Dunas Litorais is a protected area in Portugal and part of the Natura 2000 network. The project is supported by the Câmara, the National Forest Authority, the Institute for Nature Conservation and Biodiversity and Quercus.
