Since yesterday’s ‘update’ on the number of Ukrainian refugees requesting temporary protection in Portugal (1,670), the total has skyrocketed. This morning’s update on Lusa’s website shows authorities have received 2,674 requests – meaning an extra 1,000 came in in less than 24-hours.
