A 15-YEAR-old cat, thought to have been killed in a road accident, has been reunited with her family in Birmingham after she was found by a concerned resident who called the RSPCA.
Dixie’s identity was confirmed by the RSPCA veterinary, Alan Pittaway, who got in touch with her owners Alan and Gilly Delaney.
“In 29 years of working for the RSPCA I have never seen anyone so excited and happy as Mrs Delaney,” said Alan Pittaway, adding: “It made my day to return Dixie to her owners.”
