A ROMAN theatre constructed 17 centuries ago in Braga is due to be restored by archaeologists.
The Minister for Culture, Isabel Pires de Lima, visited the site, which was only uncovered eight years ago, and promised it would be restored.
She was said to be enchanted by the theatre and is eager to potentially hold performances there once it has been renovated.
It is hoped it will bring revenue to the area as interest in the site increases.
