Algarve golf pro Ricardo Santos did not enjoy the best of starts on his European Tour debut.
The 29-year-old spoilt his five birdies with four bogies on day one of the Africa Open and failed to make the cut despite a subsequent par-72.
South Africa’s Louis Ousthuizen led home a domestic one-two-three-four and will again be amongst the favourites for this weekend’s Joburg Open.
