PRIME MINISTER and dictator of the Portuguese Republic from 1932 to 1968, António de Oliveira Salazar, has been voted the greatest Portuguese ever, according to a vote on public television network, RTP.
In February, Salazar also topped the contest Os Piores Portuguesas to discover who the Portuguese considered contributed most to the country’s ruin.
